Children's Sunday School Update
Sunday School and Children’s Choir resume activities this Sunday! Sunday School will meet on the playground at 11:00 AM Children’s Choir will follow Sunday School at its new time of 12:00 NOON. Children will be served a nutritious snack before rehearsal begins. Dismissal is at 12:40 PM from the classroom.
We’ll gather each week on the playground so that the children have a chance to run off some of their energy between worship and Sunday School. Children and parents may go to the playground at any time before 11:10 AM. We ask that parents stay with their children until a teacher is also present. At 11:10 AM, we’ll all move to our classrooms for our Sunday School lesson. If it rains or snows, then we’ll meet in the hallway on the first floor between Rooms 117 and 118, where we’ll create some relays in the hall.

Sunday School …
Children’s ministries began another year of programming on Sunday, September 10 and are continuing in January 2024.
Sunday School for ages 3 - 6th grade will meet in Room 216.
Preschool and Kindergarten will be led by Miss Mirna, first and second grade will be led my Miss Christina, and Miss Harriet will lead third through sixth grade. Our classes will follow Bible stories from the Sunday lectionary.
The first rehearsal for Children’s Choir this spring with Miss Alice will be Sunday, January 7, at 3:00 PM, also in Room 216.

The Children’s worship bags have been replaced by a wall pockets holding age appropriate activities. The wall is located in the Sanctuary by the holy water dispenser.

Our Sunday School Christmas pageant, Carriers of the Light, was a smashing success! Bravo kids and thank you to the volunteers (especially Harriet, Debbie, Gail, Alice, Christina and all our Sunday school teachers) for sharing God's love with our children.
