Passing of Tom Zack
IWith profound sadness but hope in the resurrection of Christ, we announce the passing of our brother in Christ, Tom Zack. Tom suffered a severe head injury coming into church last Sunday. He and Mary were surrounded by the love and presence of God through St. Mark’s as he went to the hospital and throughout the week. Please keep Mary and their daughters in your prayers.
A service for Tom will be held at St. Mark’s on Monday, November 3 at 2:00 PM.

Passing of Gary Black
It is with sadness but hope in the resurrection that we announce the passing of our brother-in-Christ Gary Black who entered God’s eternal presence on August 4. A memorial service was held at St. Mark's on Saturday, September 27 at 11:00 AM—the service bulletin can be found HERE. Please.

Funeral Service for Pat Martin
With sadness but joy in the promise of resurrection through Christ, we announce the passing into God's eternal presence of our sister Pat Martin, who peacefully entered into God’s eternal presence the morning of July 26. A service of Christian burial for Pat was held at St. Mark’s on Saturday, August 2, beginning at 11:00 AM. The Service bulletin is found HERE. Interment in Baltimore will follow at 2:00 PM.

Passing of Mildred Wolf
With sadness but joy in the promise of resurrection through Christ, we announce the passing into God's eternal presence of our sister Mildred Wolf who entered into God’s eternal presence on January 31. We learned of her passing today, February 9. If arrangements are made for a service, we will announce them as soon as they are available. In the meantime, we give thanks to God for Mildred, who at 103, was St. Mark’s longest living member.

Ruth Williams—Celebration of Life Service
A celebration of life service for Ruth Williams will be held at 10:00 AM this Saturday, October 25th at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5114 Twinbrook Road, Fairfax. A reception at the church after the service is expected to follow. Ruth was a long-time former member of St. Mark’s who passed away last Friday after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Passing of Kay Zumstein
With sadness but joy in the promise of resurrection through Christ, we announce the passing into God's eternal presence of our sister Kay Zumstein, who peacefully entered into God’s eternal presence the morning of February 14, 2025. We will announce arrangements as soon as they are available.

It is with sadness but hope in the resurrection that we announce the passing of Scott Daniels.
Scott’s funeral service was held at St. Mark's on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM followed by a reception. The service bulletin is found HERE.

It is with sadness but hope in the resurrection that we announce the passing of our brother-in-Christ Victor Nelson. Vic peacefully followed our Shepherd’s voice into God’s eternal presence the morning of Monday, December 9. Please keep Vic's family in your prayers.
