Hypothermia 2026 … Sponsored by The Life Center at St. Mark’s

HYPOTHERMIA WEEK at St. Mark’s … Sunday, March 21 thru Sunday, March 29, 2026

St. Mark’s will once again open its doors to host the
FACETS Hypothermia Emergency Shelter
for seven nights, offering warmth, meals, and community to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. We are seeking volunteers and food donations to help provide hospitality throughout the week.

Shelter Schedule

Guests arrive Sunday evening, March 22, and depart the following Sunday morning, March 29.

Our partner congregations, St. Bernadette Catholic Church and St. John's Lutheran Church, will cover meals, overnights, and evening activities through Thursday, March 26.

Where St. Mark’s Is Needed Most

We are responsible for:

  • Friday, March 27: breakfast, dinner, and evening activities

  • Saturday, March 28: breakfast, dinner, and evening activities

  • Sunday, March 29: breakfast

Your help—whether cooking, serving, hosting activities, or donating food—directly supports a safe, welcoming space for those who need it most.
